Meet the New Breed Security Team

Patrick Prendergast

New Breed Security founder and a security services specialist with over 25 years experience. Patrick travels regularly to Europe, the USA, Africa, South America and Asia, where the New Breed name is well known and respected for the quality of its professional services.

Darryl Reid

Director and General Manager, he oversees the financial and operations departments of both State offices. Darryl has extensive experience in the security industry. Career highlights include contributing to the strategic planning and co-ordination of the Rapid Response group at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. Being part of the 2007 UK Major Events Tour with VicPol and continually visiting sites overseas to gauge our security services with others throughout the world.

Sel Firmani

Corporate and Retail Site Manager, also responsible for managing retail security operations. Sel has 12 years of experience working in corporate and retail security sites throughout Victoria. From contract inception to the guards on site, Sel will implement and manage all aspects of your security requirements.

Grant Burton

Grant is our new Events Operations Manager, bringing 12 years of security experience to the New Breed Team. Previously Grant was the events Co-ordinator at the MCG, organising AFL Game Day, concerts and international sporting event security requirements. He brings a wealth of security knowledge and will be overseeing all events both from the office and out in the field. 

Tim Barnes - NSW

We would like to welcome Tim Barnes to the role of NSW State Operations Manager.  Tim has over 11 years experience in the security industry, focusing on Security Operations, Facilities Management, CCTV, Risk Management, OH&S, EH&S, Loss Prevention & Security Training, Tim manages the NSW Sales and Operations department and is your point of contact for any enquiries.

Nikki Patuwai - NSW

Nikki started with New Breed in 2005 as a memeber if our field security team. She now coordinates our NSW operations department, providing weekly rosters and operational logistics to our security personnel in the field.

 

Myriam Parsons manages the accounts and payroll departments for the New Breed Group of Companies. Myriam is the first contact point for all client billing enquiries.

Natasha Murphy manages our reception and assists the accounts department. She is the first point of contact at our Melbourne office. Natasha will happily handle your enquiry or direct your call to the department or person you require.

Nathan Veech manages our clubs and venues; his role is to support our staff and clients in the field, provide security operation procedures within venues, and maintain business continuity to our clients.

Anthony Talia is our rosters co-ordinator and works closely with our staff within the operations department to provide and complete weekly rosters to our security personnel.
